Our annual free admission month to high scholers and others in the same age group. During the month, the café opens in the gallery. Visitors are welcome to use the café and lounge run mostly by high school and college students. A variety of different lecturers will hold workshops related to the ongoing exhibition.

Mayumi Kuramoto Workshop: Dream in a little lidded box

Strange dreams, interesting dreams, scary dreams or recurring dreams...This is a workshop installing long-hidden scenes from your dream. The workshop will take place in Art Tower Mito and two elderly facilities in Mito city. The works will be exhibited later in Art Tower Mito. In March, a tea party and a gallery tour with the artist and workshop attendants will be held.

Art Tower Mito will charter an "Art Bus," taking Mito City elementary and junior high school students to the exhibition. Students will explore the artworks, with exceptional programs guided by the artist Gojing-Maru Hayashi and university student staff members.

Session! - Gallery Tour with the visually impaired

Tour designed for the visually impaired and non-visually impaired, navigated by blind masseur, Kenji Shiratori. It is a good way to explore the nature of seeing and to view art works from different perspectives through dialog with the visually impaired.
