ATM’s pipe organ, heavily damaged in last year’s huge earthquake, was restored to working order this spring. On September 28, a full-fledged organ concert will be presented by Pier Damiano Peretti, professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, as a fitting commemoration of this memorable event. As an up-and-coming organist, Peretti has attracted avid fans from across Europe. His ambitious program at ATM combines Baroque organ piece from some 300 years ago with 20th century works.
